I’M SO GLAD YOU’RE HERE

Welcome to Evolve Mental Health & Wellness

Thank you for taking the next step towards a healthier you!

I grew up in a small town in Nebraska, living on a family farm with my parents and three older sisters. After high school, I attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, focusing on Child, Youth, and Family Studies. In 2017, my husband and I moved to Aberdeen, South Dakota, where I pursued my Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Northern State University.

Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to work in various therapeutic settings, including community mental health services and private practice. I work with clients aged 14 and older, helping individuals navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, life transitions/adjustments, mood disorders, and personality disorders.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my husband and our two young boys, who keep us on our toes! We enjoy family walks with our dog, Margo, going to the river, and traveling back to Nebraska to reconnect with friends and family back home!

Ending the Stigma

Growing up in a rural community, I saw firsthand the lack of mental health resources and the stigma that surrounded mental illness. This experience sparked a desire to advocate for those struggling with mental health challenges. It became my passion to not only provide support, but also to break down the barriers that prevent people from seeking help.

I believe it’s essential for everyone to know that it's okay to reach out for support, no matter the situation. My goal is to create a safe and welcoming space where people feel understood and empowered to become the best version of themselves—mentally, emotionally, and physically.

Meet Morgan- Aberdeen

Meet Jordan- Huron

My name is Jordan Davis, and I am proud to be returning to my hometown of Huron, South Dakota, to provide mental health services to individuals and families in the Huron community and surrounding rural areas. I graduated from Huron High School in 2009 and have a strong connection to the community and the people who call this area home.

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science from South Dakota State University in 2016 and my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Walden University in 2019. I am a Licensed Professional Mental Health Counselor with experience working with children, adolescents, and adults across a variety of mental health needs.

My therapeutic approach is holistic, integrated, and individualized to meet the unique needs of each client. I draw from a variety of evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy (REBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Adlerian therapy, person-centered techniques, behavioral and emotional regulation strategies, parts work/Internal Family Systems (IFS), and attachment-based therapy.

I have experience working with a wide range of mental health concerns and diagnoses, including anxiety-related disorders, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder, mood-related disorders, and personality-related disorders. I believe that no single therapeutic approach works for everyone, and I tailor treatment to each individual's goals, experiences, strengths, and needs. By integrating multiple therapeutic modalities, I strive to provide a collaborative, client-centered approach that supports meaningful healing, symptom management, personal growth, and lasting change.

I believe in meeting clients where they are and providing a safe, supportive space to navigate life’s challenges. I am passionate about reducing the stigma surrounding mental health and addressing the unique barriers to care often experienced in rural communities.

I take a holistic approach, recognizing that mental health impacts individuals, relationships, families, and communities. My goal is to help clients identify their strengths, needs, and supports while building resilience and a positive sense of self. Ultimately, I hope to empower each client to move beyond the counseling office with the confidence and tools to pursue their goals and dreams.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family, traveling with my girlfriend and her two dogs, and being outdoors. I’m also a big fan of high school athletics, especially football, and previously coached high school strength and conditioning. When I’m relaxing, I enjoy settling in with a good TV show.
